Good Deal Lucille
The main broodmare for Polestar Farm is Good Deal Lucille (TB: Foxy Forever).
She proved herself to be a fantastic competition horse and moved
easily up to Advanced with Meika.
She also excelled at dressage not only because of her fantastic
way of going, but also because of her phenomenal temperament.
She has passed these traits onto 3 babies: Polestar Cobrador,
Polestar Spindrift, and Polestar De Novo.
Currently Cobrador is owned and competed by Denny Emerson at
Tamarack Hill Farm and Spindrift is owned by Doreen
Schlicht of Southern Pines, NC.
Polestar De Novo is owned jointly by Polestar Farm Inc. and Denny and May
Emerson. He is sired by the Holsteiner stallion, Cevin Z , ridden
by William Funnel in England.
Affectionately know as Dino, he seems to have the tall, elegant
movement of his dam and the springy scope of his sire.
We hope to see great things from him.
Good Deal Lucille is sired by the only full brother to Triple Crown winner Affirmed, Silent Fox.
Silent Fox sired one other event horse, Foxed Again, who was ridden
to Advanced level with Denny Emerson.
