Congratulations to Lydia Hansen of Granite Falls on the purchase of her new horse!! Im thrilled that I will have the chance to watch you grow into a wonderful rider with her.
Connie is a 13 year old 16.2 hh Irish thoroughbred mare. She has evented through training level, fox hunted, pony clubbed, trail ridden in the mountains and on beaches, and is basically just a very safe and sane horse that is suitable for a beginner rider, but she also has plenty of jumping scope for a more serious rider. This horse has never seen a fence she didnt want to jump! She is typically a very straight forward, obedient and reliable horse. Very sound and an easy keeper.
Connie is best suited for someone who wants to gain confidence jumping, but she is sensitive to the aids. No spurs or whip required to get her going, so she is perfect for someone who is advanced enough with their skills that they can enjoy the forward, quiet ride.
